You already know that LA is the backdrop for tons of movies and shows, but did you know you can actually eat where the magic happened? Some of the most iconic on-screen restaurant scenes were filmed at real spots you can actually visit. Get ready to dine like you’re in the movies… literally! Keep reading to find out which Famous Film & TV Restaurants in Los Angeles you need to add to your list.
1. Formosa Cafe
Step into a slice of 1950s LA at the iconic Formosa Cafe. Known as a backdrop in LA Confidential, this spot was the go-to hangout for celebs, socialites, and even gangsters back in the day. Not to mention their Chinese food is still doing its thing 80 years later!

2. Grand Central Market
La La Land is basically a love letter to LA, packed with iconic spots. Two of its restaurant locations that are musts had to be include on this list. Starting with Grand Central Market, you can grab whatever you’re craving here, but do yourself a favor: get the pupusas and snap that classic pic with your date like Mia & Seb!

3. George’s 50s Diner
Y2K fans, this one’s for you. The diner from A Cinderella Story? It’s real, and you can totally go. No pink walls like Fiona’s, but trust, George’s 50s Diner still brings the nostalgia!

4. Lighthouse Cafe
One of La La Land’s most iconic spots, and our favorite to visit, is the Lighthouse Cafe. This legendary jazz bar isn’t just a movie backdrop. Swing by on a Monday night for live jazz, grab a drink, and vibe out in a place that loves LA (and La La Land) as much as we do.

5. Musso and Frank
This legendary spot has shown up in tons of films and shows, but perhaps most notably Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. It was the go-to hangout for actors, musicians, and power players back in the day—and it still is. Serving up Hollywood’s finest food for literally over 100 years, Musso & Frank is a Hollywood classic you can’t skip!

6. The Prince
Who’s that girl? It’s you grabbing a drink at the iconic New Girl bar! Fans can actually hit up the spot that helped make the show so legendary. It’s one of my favorite bars in LA, period. The vibes are always on point, the soju wine cocktails hit, and it still looks just like the show. You may just run into your very own Schmidt, Nick, & Winston!

7. Randy’s Donuts
Marvel fans, you know you can’t pass Randy’s Donuts without picturing Tony Stark chilling in his suit, helmet off, with a box of donuts. An iconic scene that helped kick off the MCU vibe we all love. Swing by, snap a pic, and grab one of their legendary donuts—you know Tony Stark would.
